He said the report was prepared by the specialized agencies of the United Nations: "Iraq in a way that it becomes new oil superpower".
This report has been prepared which got a copy of each agency Iraq [where] joint information and analysis unit (IAU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) which discusses the oil and gas sector in Iraq.
The report stated that Iraq's proven oil reserves of up to 143 billion barrels in addition to the possible existence of 200 billion barrels, puts Iraq on a small group of States that have high potential for oil production and to influence the world oil markets.
The report said, "will remain the possibility of growth and prosperity and job creation in other non-oil sectors are limited to be genuine efforts to diversify the economy and the transfer of the proceeds of oil exports to the private sector."
The report noted that the enormous gas reserves, Iraq and untapped as currently required to be harnessed to support electricity production.

The report stated that the petroleum sector dominates the Iraqi economy contributes 60% of GDP as of 99% of exports and more than 90% of government revenue. And higher rates of oil production and exports have increased control over the economy, thus increased government revenues.
