Zebari renew the reservation of Baghdad on the expected sanctions on Syria

Baghdad, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said his country's reservations on the imposition of economic sanctions against Syria, noting that the Arab League Secretary General will visit Iraq soon.

Zebari said at a press conference during his visit to Najaf that "economic sanctions on Damascus not approved yet," adding that his country "will take part in the meetings of the Arab League on this matter," noting that Iraq "has reservations about the imposition of these sanctions on Syria, because it a neighboring country as well as the presence of thousands of Iraqis residing in addition to the presence of commercial interests and a common economic."
