Barzani discuss with Jeffrey and Austin bilateral relations in the light of the agreement signed between Iraq and the United States

The Government said in a statement received by region (News Agency news) Sunday: that the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two sides level in the light of the agreement signed between Iraq and the United States, in this regard President Barzani, the need to strengthen relations that serve the common interests of both sides, particularly after the withdrawal of u.s. troops from Iraq by the end of the year.

And their u.s. Ambassador and the Commander of US forces the United States sought to strengthen and develop its relations with Iraq and Kurdistan, noting that the stability and development of the Kurdistan region has contributed to that territory not only weight in Iraq, but throughout the region, and thank you President Barzani for his support for the work of the United States Consulate in the Kurdistan region.

In another part of the meeting discussed the current situation in the region and developments in some Arab States, as well as to discuss relations between the Government of Kurdistan and the Federal Government and ways to address outstanding issues.
