11/26/2011Al-Maliki in Kuwait within few days - Zebari
Baghdad, Iraqi Premier Nouri Al-Maliki will visit Kuwaiti within the next few days, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari announced here Saturday.
"All pending files between the two countries will be mulled over during the visit," Zebari noted.
The announcement came during a press conference Zebari held in Najaf to stand on preparations to celebrate the city as capital for Islamic Culture for 2012.

Mariam Al-Rayes, media advisor at Al-Maliki's office, confirmed the announcement in a press release, stressing that "the Iraqi government adopted dialogue as means to solve issues with Kuwait and avoid media escalation that would harm interests of both countries."
Al-Maliki's last visit to Kuwait was last February, while His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah headed a senior delegation to Baghdad earlier in the year.
