21/11/2011Allawi meets with Kuwait’s Prime Minister
Baghdad, Leader of Iraqiya Slate, Iyad Allawi, met on Monday, Nov. 21, in Kuwait with Kuwait’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Nasir al-Mohamed al-Ahmed al-Jabir al-Sabah, during an unannounced visit to Kuwait.
Kuwait’s News Agency (KUNA) reported that Sheikh Nasir al-Mohamed al-Ahmed al-Jabir al-Sabah met with former Iraqi Prime Minister, Iyad Allawi, and the delegation accompanying him.
The Agency did not give details on the content of the meeting and the visit’s aim, especially that the relations between Iraq and Kuwait have been tense recently because of Kuwait’s move toward building Mubark Port, without consulting Iraq, which will harm Iraq’s navigation.
