A US military official said Wednesday that the number of us military bases remaining in Iraq as pullout scheduled for the end of the year amounted to 15 base out of 505 previously deployed rules.
Engineering Directorate, said the Commander of US forces in Iraq General Brock O'Donoghue, in a press statement, "US forces in Iraq are now in 15 rule, nine American and six with Iraqi forces."
According to the US military deployment documents the number of US troops remaining in Iraq stands at 39 000, plus a contractor 38.500 stationed in these rules.
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said in a press conference, last Saturday, the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq by the end of the year will remove all justification grounded them "terrorist" elements and rule, every concern and suspicion of others, adding that the withdrawal process is a success for Iraq and the United States and beginning a new relationship in the implementation of the framework agreement passes ".
