29/10/2011Atrushi: Kurdistan looking for the role of the UN to solve the problem of "conflict areas"
Called the Kurdistan Alliance MP Farhad Atrushi the United Nations to actively participate to get to the real solutions to the problem of the disputed areas.
Atrushi said that a lengthy meeting between the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Barham Saleh and his accompanying delegation with the UN mission in Baghdad, headed by UN envoy Martin Kobler discussed the issue in which article "140" and disputed areas in detail.
He said the provincial government Christan dependent based on the article "140" in solving the problem of the disputed areas as sanctioned by everyone in the Constitution.
He explained that this article needed to be operational mechanisms with UN help, and may be to find solutions satisfactory to all parties, because this article has developed a roadmap to solve all the problems.
And across Atrushi willingness to show flexibility to reach solutions and not to stand in front of an obstacle, it is a problem for all Iraqis, not only the province of Kurdistan.
He described the meetings in Baghdad as a very positive and the ground is prepared to abide by the Constitution and the political Alatagafat, and the federal government expressed its full readiness to Atzam the Constitution and the Conventions of Arbil.
