The Conference aims at opening new and unlimited horizons for an all-out investment in Al Anbar, the largest Iraqi Governorate, in various sectors, especially in the fields of oil and natural gas. Companies will learn about the various industrial projects expected to be launched in the industrial cities of Al Anbar, which will be announced during the conference.

Al Anbar, the biggest Iraqi governorate in area, is a promising investment attraction because of its outstanding geographical location near Baghdad and its border with three countries, which appeals to investors to create new and competitive markets. The governorate has adopted long-term investment strategies aiming at employing the unique resources and assets of Al Anbar, a city renowned for its well-established and diverse industrial activities, in addition to several other successful investment stories in the sectors of housing, agriculture and tourism.
Investment in Al Anbar this year had reached $2 billion in the sectors of housing, agriculture and industry, a number that is expected to double in the coming months as a result of the planning by Al Anbar Investment Commission to establish multiple industrial cities in Ramadi, Anna and Hīt.

Al-Hashimi up Istanbul to attend an investment conference in Anbar
Baghdad, Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi to Turkey to participate in an investment conference, under the banner of Al-Anbar province (continuous investment for tomorrow stable), held in Istanbul, for the period from 24-26/10/2011.
According to the statement by the Presidency of the Republic received (News News Agency) on Monday: the Conference aims to open up new prospects for investment in Anbar in all sectors, especially oil and natural gas sectors, as well as inform companies on projects of industrial cities and which will be announced during the Conference.
It is hoped to participate in this Conference, many local companies and Arab and foreign looking to take advantage of investment opportunities in Al Anbar, Iraq's facilities for investors.
