Zebari, US Ambassador discuss post withdrawal relations
Baghdad, Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, discussed with US Ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, the relations between Iraq and the US after American forces withdrawal.
A statement issued on Sunday, Sep. 11, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Zebari met on Sunday with Ambassador Jeffrey, discussing the Iraq-US relations after 2011 and the need for organizing the transitional period.”
It added, “They stressed the necessity to activating the Strategic Frame Agreement, as well as keeping contacts and dialogue between both sides.”
