Kuwait's Prime Minister arrives in Switzerland

Berne, Switzerland, His Highness the Prime Minister (of Kuwait) Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived Tuesday in the city of Bern for an official couple of days visit.

Sheikh Nasser will hold meetings with high ranking Swiss officials with the aim of bolstering bilateral relations in all domains.

Bilateral ties between the two countries date back to many years ago, and mutual cooperation exists in various areas and many fields, particularly the economy.

The two sides have expressed keenness to further promote these ties in all fields, especially in the political, cultural, commercial, and investment areas.

Both countries strongly support world peace and stability and give political, financial, and economic support to launch of developmental projects where they are needed.

The two countries also enjoy strong economic cooperation which is reflected by huge Kuwaiti investment in various successful projects, in addition to bilateral trade agreements.

Sheikh Nasser's accompanying delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Finance Minister Mustafa Jassim Al-Shimali, Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Msaed Al-Sayer, Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Amani Khalid Buresli, Minister of State for Planning and Development Affairs Abdulwahab Rashid Al-Haroun, the President First Deputy of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khalid Al-Saqer, Advisor of Amiri Diwan Mohammad Abul-Hasan, and Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah.

Upon arrival, Sheikh Nasser and his accompanying delegation were received by Kuwait's Ambassador to Switzerland Suhail Khalil Shuhaibar, Kuwait permanent Representative in the UN in Geneva Ambassador Dherar Abdulrazaq Rzouqi, and Kuwaiti diplomatic mission in Geneva and Berne.
