An updated list of speakers (No. 2) for the general debate of the sixty-sixth regular session of the General Assembly is now available at the General Assembly Affairs Branch (rooms IN-603H and NL-1033). The list of speakers has also been sent by facsimile directly to the permanent missions (Office of the Permanent Representative).

The list of speakers for each plenary meeting of the general debate is also published daily in the Journal of the United Nations.

Delegations are kindly reminded that, in accordance with existing practice at the sessions of the General Assembly, a voluntary 15-minute time limit should be observed during the general debate. The list of speakers was prepared on the basis of this 15-minute time limit statement by each delegation. In order to help the speakers to follow with the time for their statement, a mechanism will be installed at the rostrum. Delegations may wish to inform their capital on this procedure.
