Iraq is heading for the establishment of industrial cities with international participation

He noted that the participants the workshop stressed the importance of the establishment of industrial cities in advanced and modern in Iraq to benefit from international experiences leading up to this area and within the framework of the Programme government for the unity of the tasks of economic reform in the advancement of the private sector in Iraq. and Atwani that the Planning Minister, Dr. Ali Yousef Shukri said: We are meeting today to complete what was initiated in 2007 efforts to complete the first phase of the first project for the integrated industrial prepared by a government in both Basra and Erbil, which contributed to the expertise of local and foreign set of analytical studies and indicators that will enrich certainly our steps necessary for the start relay project implementation.

He added that the project of industrial zone in these two provinces is one of the paragraphs of the agreement signed by the Ministry of Planning with the World Bank to support private sector.
