U.S. imposes sanctions on Syrian bank because of its cooperation with North Korea

Wednesday, the United States announced sanctions against the Commercial Bank of Syria, Syria's largest banks, the state-owned, for allegedly providing financial services to North Korea.

These sanctions include freezing any assets may be owned by the bank in the United States and prevent American companies and American citizens from doing business with him.
