Iraq PM receives UAE ambassador to Iraq
Iraqi Government Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki received on Wednesday United Arab Emirates (UAE) ambassador to Iraq Abdullah Ibrahim Al Shehi in his office in Baghdad.
During the meeting, Nouri Al Maliki discussed the importance of cementing bilateral relations between the two countries, calling on UAE companies to invest in Iraq.
He reaffirmed the importance of addressing the problems hindering contracting stages in a bid to facilitate investment opportunities for companies, urging relevant parties in the two countries to speed up the business establishment procedures.
For his part, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Shehi expressed his country’s desire to invest in Iraq and expand economic cooperation with Iraq.
