Baghdad, discussed by President Jalal Talabani afternoon Tuesday, with the head of the Iraq Dr. Ayad Allawi, the overall political situation and regional issues and developments in the region.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic received the Agency (news) copy of it today: that the two sides stressed the the importance of moving forward in working together to ensure that crowned the next meeting of political leaders with positive results and fruitful worthy of this phase of the country's history, the stage of stability, construction, reconstruction, and where Iqbal world on Iraq.
The statement said: President Talabani and Dr. Allawi stressed the need to establish partnership true in the management of the country and the commitment to implement the agreements signed between the political blocs, especially the Convention of Arbil and the initiative of President Massoud Barzani.
The statement said that Allawi for his part, thanked President Talabani on his visit, stressing the importance of continuing the visits between political leaders because of their role in opening wide vistas for fraternal dialogue to get to understandings satisfactory to all parties.
