Political blocs meeting next SaturdayThe meeting of the political blocs shall be held next Saturday, according to a presidential statement issued today.
The Presidency announced that President Jalal Talabani visited today the head of al-Iraqiya Bloc Iyad Allawi, where they both confirmed that the coming meeting should be positive and fruitful.
Political blocs met on 9 July under the patronage of President Talabani during which they discussed the internal political situation and the US forces withdrawal.
A tripartite committee was formed to submit its suggestion within two weeks time.
