7/10/2011Council for Strategic Studies should be cancelled - MP
Baghdad, A State of Law MP called to cancel the Higher National Council for Strategic policies demanded by al-Iraqiya bloc's leader Iyad Allawi.
"Trimming down the government should depend on both scientific and vocational criteria.
This begins with merging ministries that are similarly specialized, and canceling all redundant posts, particularly the Strategic Council, which is the main obstacle for finding the solutions for pending questions," MP Mohammed Saadoun al-Sayhood told Aswat al-Iraq.
He confirmed the necessity for such cancellations.
