Canadian Defence Minister departs Kuwait
KUWAIT, Canada's Defence Minister Peter McKay departed Kuwait on Tuesday, after signing a memorandum of understanding to establish a Canadian military logistic hub in Kuwait.
Accompanying the minister at his departure from Kuwait International Airport, were Assistant Chief-of-Staff of the Kuwait Armed Forces for Operations and Planning, Major-General Abdulrahman Al-Othman, the Canadian Ambassador to Kuwait and several Kuwaiti army officers.
