Arab League hosts meeting on Libya for Int'l regional organizations tomorrow
CAIRO, The Arab League is to host tomorrow a meeting for international and regional organizations on Libya, including discussion on ways to settle the Libyan crisis and support the Libyan people, a statement by the League said on Friday.
The statement noted that the meeting will be attended by the secretary generals of these organizations, like United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and Catherine Ashton, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
The meeting will also be attended by the Chairman of the African Union Commission Jean Ping, the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, and UN Special Representative to Libya Abdul Elah Al-Katib, the statement added.
