Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki directed the Committee to Protect Iraq's money in overseas funds to disclose the fate of an estimated (17.5) billion dollars

Due to gather many of the indicators that show the existence of suspicions about the fate of Iraqi funds are estimated at (17.5) billion dollars were confiscated, seized or withdrawn from the Development Fund for Iraq since the fall of the former regime.

The state, Mr. Prime Minister, the Committee to Protect Iraq's assets abroad, and the problem is headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Rose Nuri Shaways and the membership of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, Minister of Finance Dr. Rafie al-Issawi and Minister of Justice, Mr. Hassan Shammari and the Governor of the Central Bank and the Legal Adviser to the Prime Minister, to follow up this file and reveal fate of these funds and as soon as possible.
