Board of Directors of the IMF meeting on 28 June to choose a new president of the Fund
International Monetary Fund said on Monday that the Board of Directors will meet in the twenty-eighth of this month to discuss the strengths of the candidates for the position of Executive Director of the Fund in order to make a decision to choose one for the position by June 30.
He said the Fund in a statement that the Governor of the Central Bank of Mexico Agustin Carstens, visit the Fund's headquarters on Monday and Tuesday this week for a series of interviews while his rival, French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde will visit the International Finance Corporation on Wednesday and Thursday.
