Senate OKs promotion for member of Treasury crime unit
Washington, The Senate on Thursday confirmed Daniel Glaser for a top post in the Treasury Department's anti-terrorism unit.
Glaser's nomination to serve as the assistant secretary for terrorist financing was approved by the Senate in a voice vote.
Glaser has served as Deputy Assistant Secretary since November 2004 and was nominated by the White House in March to advance to assistant secretary.
