10/05/2011Expert: Iraq may preside over the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries
Erbil, An expert in the oil markets on Tuesday, said that after the united ministries of oil, energy, three women, it if did not specify the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is urgent and the new Minister of the Ministry of the newly formed, Iraq will chair the meeting of 159 of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in the Austrian capital Vienna.
The news agency quoted (dowry) Iranian expert in oil markets Jawad Barjani saying that "OPEC depend on the installation of President of the Organization on the alphabetical order, the Iran's delay in determining the new Minister of the Ministry of the newly formed, means that Iraq's oil minister will chair the upcoming meeting of the OSCE in Vienna ".
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) decided in 2007, select alphabetical order according to its chairman and which will be chaired by Iraq in 2012.
It is said that Iran currently holds the presidency of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries in meeting the 157 held in 2011 the current, are Iran and Iraq is a founding member of this organization in 1960, along with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Venezuela, but the organization now includes most of Petroleum Exporting Countries.
It is scheduled to convene the meeting of the Organization of the 157 in the month of June of this year in the Austrian capital Vienna.
