Bank of Iraq celebrated the seventieth anniversary of its foundation and Issawi emphasizes the need to redouble efforts to catch up with global banks.
Was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Finance Dr. Rafie al-Issawi a party hosted by Bank of Iraq in the seventieth anniversary of its founding and through al-Issawi was confident in the management of the bank's long history and all its employees.
Issawi, said that the lean years that have passed on Iraq during the past years, the banking sector of the main sectors affected by the events which passed her country, adding that to everyone to redouble efforts , especially the Rafidain and the rational and the full support of the Ministry of Finance and the Iraqi government to enable these banks to catch up banks World , noting that there is an agreement with the World Bank and the central bank to build a comprehensive banking system.
And at the same al-Issawi said the idea of a new Finance Ministry, which sponsors the mission to send a post-graduate to the United Kingdom and Bank of Iraq one of these institutions, which will include this. He said, adding that in the coming days will be the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the British Consulate to activate this program in order to upgrade the level of the staff of the Ministry of Finance.
