Search Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi with the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey ways to protect Iraqi funds abroad.
The statement said al-Issawi's office said Sunday that the Minister of Finance discussed with the U.S. ambassador to the topics raised in the meetings of Washington for the protection of Iraqi funds abroad and mechanism of the Iraqi bank accounts and most of the results of what transpired at that conference.
He added that the two sides discussed the overall political developments in Iraq and how to activate the real partnership in political decision-making has also been addressed to the political crises occurring in the Middle East and how to deal with the latest developments in the region.
