4/30/2011Parliament session convenes, inviting Foreign & Finance Ministers.
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Parliament Session has convened on Saturday, inviting the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Finance, about the promulgation of the Agreement on the Settlement of Financial Demands between Iraq and the United States of America, a Parliament source said.
“The Parliament’s 60th session has began, under chairmanship of Parliament Speaker, Usama al-Nujeify, and attendance of 206 MPs, to invite the Foreign and Finance Ministers, along with the Governor of the Central Bank, regarding the promulgation of the Agreement on the Settlement of Financial Demands between Iraq and the United States,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency
The session shall also witness:
_the 1st reading of the draft-law on the National Security Ministry,
_the draft-law on the Defense Ministry, as well as the draft-law on on Awards and Notes, along with
_the draft-law on the arms, he stressed.
