House of Representatives raises its 56 to next Tuesday

The source said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "House Speaker Osama Nujaifi the adjournment of the regular 56, which was held today, under his chairmanship and the presence of 226 deputies, to Tuesday, the twenty-sixth of this month," noting that "the meeting witnessed a host President of the Court financial control Abdel Basset Turki, who presented the annual report for the year 2010."
The source, who asked not to be named, said: "The meeting witnessed the swearing-in of the Vice-Ali Abd al-Nabi and Mahmoud Saleh as Vice alternatives by the Minister of State for National Reconciliation Ammar Khuzaie and MP resigned Jaafar Mohammed Baqir al-Sadr," noting that "the meeting also saw the vote on the proposal Act to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure No. 23 of 1971, and the vote on the formation of an investigative committee to combat corruption in the province of Diyala."
The source explained that "the Council ended today's session the first reading of a bill of Communications and IT, also completed the first reading of the draft law on ratification of two letters and exchange of notes and minutes of negotiations signed between Iraq and Japan on the Japanese loan in addition to the first reading of the bill the first amendment to the Military Penal Code No. 19 of 2007, "adding that" the Council also completed the second reading of the draft law on ratification of the Convention on the settlement of claims between the Iraqi government and the U.S. government."
