Iraq's Foreign Minister, Zebari, meets Secretary General of the United Nations
Mr. and met Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari on the sidelines of the London International Conference on the situation in Libya, on the evening of 03/29/2011, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations.
During this meeting, the minister briefed the secretary-general is the most important discussions at the first meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Iraqi - Kuwaiti joint meetings held in Kuwait during the period 27-28/3/2011 as far as the issues concerning the situation between Iraq and Kuwait.
He stressed the importance of this meeting in terms of being the first meeting between the two sides were to discuss those issues which are serious, comprehensive and transparent, including the atmosphere of the meeting there was a positive spirit Where both sides between his vision of how to address these issues with full respect for UN Security Council resolutions relevant.
The Minister referred to the meeting next meeting will be crucial and important and may require the parties to the intervention of the General Secretariat of the United Nations at a later stage.
