Biden chaired a meeting to discuss the U.S. implementation of agreements on forming the Iraqi government
Chaired by Vice President Joseph Biden, a meeting attended by senior U.S. officials to discuss the political, economic and security situation in Iraq.
The White House issued a statement in which he indicated that the conferees, most notably as Minister of Defense and Transportation and the Director of the CIA and the Chief of Staff, they stopped at the developments in Iraq at various levels of political, economic and security in Iraq.
The research involved an update on the status of implementation of agreements on forming the government, pointing out that rates of violence are still at levels considered a minimum, stressing that Iraqi security forces capable of providing security in the country, and discussants to provide U.S. support for the sectors of energy and the economy in line with the strategic agreement between America and Iraq .
