Barzani arrives in Kurdistan
Erbil, The Kurdistan Region’s President, Massoud Barzani arrived on Tuesday in Kurdistan at the Erbil International Airport following a visit to Europe.
A source at the airport told AKnews that President Barzani was received by a number of senior party and government officials.
"Barzani will hold shortly a press conference inside the airport,” the source said.
Massoud Barzani left Kurdistan for Europe on February 14. On February 22 he was awarded the Atlantique prize for peace in the Italian capital Rome in the presence of NATO officials and representatives of the Italian Presidency.
