Barzani, Allawi discuss activating the political conventions
Kurdistan leader Massoud Barzani, with the head of the Iraqi List, Iyad Allawi, the political situation in the country.
During the meeting also discussed the regional situation and the latest developments in the political situation in the Iraqi arena, stressing the necessity of expediting the completion of his cabinet, according to a source of Kurdish sentiments in a press statement.
The two sides also discussed the issue of Council strategic policies in Iraq and the role of this Council in supporting the government and improve its performance, as well as discuss activating the conventions of political parties and strengthen the national partnership.
The source noted that Allawi wished Barzani continued in his attempts to bring the views as part of his initiative that led to the formation of the government and promote the political process in Iraq.
