Zebari would not participate in the emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo tomorrow

Cairo, The Iraqi representative to the Arab League on Friday evening, the Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, will not participate in the emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers to be held on Saturday evening in Cairo.

Said Qais al-Azzawi told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "the senior agent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq to Abawi, however, will represent Iraq at the meeting," revealing the arrival of the delegation of the Ministry of emerging Iraqi to Cairo to participate in the meeting.

He explained that "Iraq supports the imposition of an air embargo on Libya, which is consistent with the Gulf Cooperation Council in this matter," noting that "Iraq will declare its position to impose the ban during a meeting tomorrow."

And that "Iraq is one of the first Arab countries that have requested the rest of the Arab states to freeze the membership of Libya, our position was clear that people do not fight or hit the brutality carried out by the Libyan regime."

Azzawi called the Arab League Council to take decisive steps towards Libya, stressing that "the consolidated position of the Arab League to convey to the UN Security Council to impose air embargo internationalist."
