He said al-Maliki: "Personally, I will continue the implementation of all the things that fall under my responsibility, and I follow the work of ministers and local governments and requiring them to carry out the promises they made to the people." He stressed that he would "do its utmost to cooperate and coordinate with the legislative and judicial powers, in order to resolve the issues that people complain about them."
His official spokesman of the government of Ali al-Dabbagh said the Cabinet held an emergency meeting today to activate the work of the ministries and governors and the development of operational plans of urgency. Sources close to Maliki's "Union" that there is a tendency to solve the provincial and municipal response to the demands of the demonstrators.
For his part, Sistani warned the government not to continue the current approach in the management of state and can result from lack of speed in the development of radical solutions to the problems of people who have patience for long.
