February 8th 2011Iraqi parliament resumes sessions next Sunday
Baghdad, The Iraqi parliament concluded on Tuesday its 31 session, which began earlier today, and it will be resumed next Sunday after it witnessed remarkable debate about the 2011 budget.
The Turkomani MP Arshad al-Salihi told AKnews that the Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi identified on Sunday as the deadline to end the debate about the 2011 budget.
Mahma Khalil, member of the Kurdistan Blocs Coalition (KBC) told AKnews earlier that his bloc attended the session that was held today to discuss the 2011 budget in the presence of 195 MPs after it was postponed for an hour due to the lack of quorum, adding that his bloc had no objections on the amendments implemented to by the government.
