February 21, 2011Council ends the first reading to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure
House of Representatives ended its session, Thirty-seventh, which was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Osama al-Chairman of the Board of Deputies and the presence of 229 deputies, today Monday, 21/02/2011 first reading of the Act to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure (the deletion of paragraph b of Article 136 which gives the administrator the right not to refer the employee to the judiciary) .
At the beginning of the meeting initiated by any of the Holy Quran, the Council ended the first reading of the draft law of the First Amendment on the Law of private investment in crude oil refining No. (64) for the year 2007.

The other hand the Council voted to form an investigative committee on the failures of the distribution of electric power based on a request by MP Uday Awad also voted to form a committee to investigate the facts to match the drawings and the Ministry of Finance calculated the Development Fund for Iraq, according to a request by MP Ahmad Chalabi.
In another matter provided the investigative problem on the closure of offices Baghdadiya satellite channel its report to the Council, which ensure that the media and contact the organization record settlement with the channel Baghdadiya space for re-opening of its offices in Baghdad and the provinces.
