2/24/2011HH the CP attends popular festival in Rowdatain area
KUWAIT, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AL-Sabah attended on Thursday the activities of the popular tradition festival in Al-Rowdatain area.
HH the Crown Prince's convoy arrived at 2:00 p.m. and was greeted upon arrival by deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, State Minister for Development Affairs, State Minister for Housing AFfairs and head of the supreme organizing committee of the festival Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and deputy head of the committee Sheikh Thari Al-Fahad as well as head of the arbitration panel Sheikh Sabah Fahd Sabah Al-Naser and member of the committee.
HH the Crown Prince delivered a speech in which he expressed delight for convening this Gulf gathering, welcomed all participants and praised those who contributed to the success of this festival.
HH also congratulated King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia for the safe return home following medical trip wishing him the best of health.
Participants in the festival thanked HH the Crown Prince for attending the gathering, saying his participation gave an impetus for for them to continue highlighting the role of the popular tradition in society.
The ceremony was also attended by Undersecretary of HH the Crown Prince's Diwan Sheikh Mubarak Al-Faisal Al-Saud Al-Sabah and Assistant Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Training Lt. Gen. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf.
