2/24/2011 Kuwait's preparations for national celebrations' visits complete
KUWAIT, Head of Amiri Protocol and the honorary mission and the Executive committee, and member of the higher committee Sheikh Khaled Abdullah Al-Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah said Thursday, all preparations are set ahead for the visits of Kings, Sheikhs, Presidents and visitors participating in Kuwait's celebrations marking the 50th Anniversary of the Independence, the 20th Anniversary of the Liberation, as well as the 5th Anniversary of His Highness the Amir's Assumption of Power.
Sheikh Khaled added that participants consist of 17 head of states, three Vice Presidents, one Prime Minister and three head of parliaments, six heads of international organizations, 15 top officials, 343 military leaders, and 185 journalists.
The participation marks the importance of Kuwait's role in both International and regional forums.
