2/24/2011 Migiro to represent Ban at Kuwait celebrations
UNITED NATIONS, Deputy Secretary-General Asha-Rose Migiro will leave New York Thursday evening for Kuwait, where she will represent Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the celebrations of the twentieth anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait scheduled for 26 February, the UN announced here on Wednesday.
The Deputy Secretary-General will hold bilateral meetings with the Kuwaiti Government during her visit.
She will also meet with United Nations officials based in Kuwait, as well as visit a project being carried out by the United Nations Country Team, the announcement added.
