Friday, January 14, 2011 Mullen points out to Iraq political challenges
Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Michael Mullen believes that challenges in Iraq are rather political.
Mullen said he is satisfied with the new government of Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki for it includes all components including Al Sadr Front.
While stating his concern over mounting Iranian influence in Iraq, Adm. Mullen affirmed that US Forces are preparing to withdraw from the country by the end of 2011.
