Anti-U.S. Cleric Back in Iraq

Muqtada al-Sadr, an influential Shiite cleric and outspoken opponent of
U.S. Iraq policy (NYT), returned home to Iraq after three years of voluntary exile in Iran.

Last month, Sadr's party struck a deal to join the new Iraqi government with thirty-nine seats in parliament.
