Iraq Parliament bylaws to be discussed on Saturday
Heads of Iraqi political parties will pursue on Saturday their meeting to discuss the final draft of Parliament bylaws, parliamentary committees distribution and the formation of two committees to discuss the national policy law before passing it to the President and then to Parliament for ratification.
Parliament Speaker prerogatives are still under debate. Iraqi Speaker Ousama Al Nujaifi stressed the necessity to decide about his authorities in Saturday’s meeting.
Kurdistan Alliance MP Mohsen Al Saadoun told Alsumaria News that the Alliance and Al Iraqiya were facing rows over the legal committee and Parliament speaker authorities.
