The Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki , met with US Army Chief of Staff, General George W. Casey on Friday , December 24, 2010.
The Prime Minister emphasized during the meeting, Iraqi government's keenness to develop relations with the United States of America in all areas.
“the Iraqi armed and security forces are able to take responsibility and preserve security”, PM said.
For his part, General Casey commended the role of the Iraqi armed forces in keeping security and stability, stressing his country's support for the Iraqi government in all areas, including the arming and training.
