Oman launches common ATM switch
Oman's central bank has launched a common automated teller machine and point-of-sale national switch called OmanNet, Times of Oman has reported.
The new system aims to provide a cost-effective and speedy financial transaction for 1.1 million plus debit and credit card holders in the country. OmanNet also provides services like mini statement and account-to-account transfer at all the ATMs for those banks which support this functionality.
