Zebari discuss with Jeffrey ways to rid Iraq of the provisions of Chapter VII
Research and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, with the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad James Jeffrey, the progress made by Iraq to fulfill its international obligations to get out of the provisions of Chapter VII.
He said a press statement, the Iraqi foreign minister, the ambassador praised the efforts of the Iraqi government to close the file of the oil for food and the settlement of claims and the majority of problematic contracts inherited from the former regime, was discussed during the meeting Iraq's request to extend the immunity of the funds and deposits in the Iraqi Development Fund for Iraq.

The meeting comes at a time took over the United States this month presidency of the UN Security Council, recalling the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to the presence of joint US-Iraqi desire to hold a special meeting of the Security Council to review the actions of Iraq's fulfillment of its international obligations.
