Budget deficit to return to Iraqi council of ministers
Baghdad, Iraqiya lawmaker said Monday that the public federal budget of 2011 will be returned to the council of ministers for editing.
Naheda al Daiyni told AKnews that the budget project will be returned to the ministers’ council for editing; after the parliament postponed its reading, because the ministries have not send the final accounts of the current year yet.
She explained that the ministries do not want to send their final accounts; therefore we will call for the ministries to send their accounts in order to discuss it and read the budget project.
The Iraqi parliament postponed reading the budget of 2011 yesterday, until the formation
KBC withdrew from the Reading session protesting on the region's allocations, considering the first reading not binding.
