Iraq to submit its report to the Security Council within two days, including a request to protect his money

Baghdad, The Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Sunday, it will be submitted to the UN Security Council during its meeting on the next couple of days a report on the actions by Iraq, down to bear the responsibility to protect their money during the coming period, stressing that the Iraqi government in the report will ask extension for another year for the protection of Iraqi funds.

The Under-Secretary of State, however, Iraqi Kurdistan Abawi told News (AKnews), said that “Iraq will be asked at the meeting of the UN Security Council during the next couple of days to extend the term of protection money for another year.”

The Abbawi that “Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari held meetings with a number of ambassadors of the permanent members of the UN Security Council,” pointing out that “Zebari asked to help Iraq to protect the money for another year until the completion of the requirements of the restoration of those funds.”

Turn, the chancellor said the Central Bank of Iraq Mohammed Saleh (Rn), “The Security Council decided to form a committee for monitoring and verification to make sure the measures taken by the government of that money is spent in a measured way without loss.”

Indicates that the benefit to “the Committee includes representatives from the International Monetary Fund and the Global Financial institutions affiliated to the United Nations and with the participation of the Iraqi side.”

The UN Security Council issued March / March 2003 resolution 1483, which put money in the Iraq Development Fund for Iraq to protect them from DFI Alvea because of lawsuits brought by persons and institutions against the former Iraqi regime.
