BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said on Tuesday that the Iraqi people will start a new era after forming a government of national partnership, according to a statement of his office.
“Al-Maliki congratulated the Iraqi people and the entire Islamic nation on Eiduladha (Greater Bairam), asserting that Iraq will start a new era after forming the new government, which will achieve security and stability,” said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He vowed to leave no stone unturned to strengthen security and to boost national sovereignty.
