Talabani, Biden discuss Iraqi gov't formation
Baghdad, President Jalal Talabani received a phone call from US Vice-President Joe Biden Tuesday during which they discussed the process of forming the future Iraqi government, the presidency said.
It said both men talked about the holding of the next parliament's session.
Biden, said the statement, hoped the government would be formed as soon as possible, and that it would be inclusive.
Talabani echoed Biden's desire and said the ongoing meetings between the political forces were progressing towards the forming of the government, said the statement.
