Oil: starting the third round of competition to develop three gas fields next Wednesday
Fired and oil ministry on Wednesday third round of licenses to invest three gas fields.
The spokesman said the media ministry spokesman Assem Jihad, the work of the third round of competition for the development of gas fields will begin next Wednesday at the headquarters of the ministry, stressing that it will be openly and transparently in front of the competing companies and the media.
He said that 45 international companies will compete to win the licenses, adding that the three fields are included (cane field in Anbar province, and Mansuriyah in Diyala province, and Saybah in the province of Basra.
Jihad said that companies that compete on these fields is a well known international companies of different nationalities, have been selected according to the most reliable international standards in the extractive sector, whether oil or gas, adding that the oil ministry would prefer to contract, which ensures the best interest of the Iraqi oil industry revenues.
