Uthman to Al- Fayhaa: there is no decision of not participating if Al- iraqiya and the Supreme Council withdrew
Mahmoud Othman, member of the Kurdish alliance denied the news about the Kurdish alliance not participating in the coming government if Al Iraqiya and the ISCI pull out. He stressed that the Kurdish alliance will not link its fate to other blocs.
Othman also called upon Washington to intervene to shake up the political stalemate in Iraq today. He added that Hoshiar Zibari, Foreign Minister’s invitation to Washington to intervene was sent in his official capacity and was not a personal plea.

He also pointed out that the Kurdish Alliance believes in the necessity of the US’s intervention.Othman clarified that the US role can vitally contribute in finding a solution to the current crisis of the Iraqi political process, while the US has lessened its commitment towards Iraq.
